Felix Carnis Creodonta (organisation)
The Felix Carnis Creodonta used to be a unified group of individual families of bounty hunters, that decided that the war between all those different factions and families is a big obstruction for this lucrative business. After signing what seemed like a peace treaty, they were not allowed to hunt one another.
And after decades of truce, the different faction heads recognized the benefits of an alliance that big, that they actually decided to stop the hierarchic tone within their individual families and create an actual organization, governed by the former heads and a clear command structure.
Nowadays the FCC is governed by a total of eight councilors and one chairman. They have four big factions underneath them, specialized in different things.
- First there are the Hunters, the remains of the past, trained bounty hunters, that find and end their prey, according to the contract, of course. They sometimes get hired by the local guardsmen to find the criminal scum they don't have time to catch.
- The second factions are the Shields,
a troupe of mercenaries, that are skilled and trained in defending
their client and their possessions. Ruthless fighters, that act like a
private army if you can pay the coin. There are a total of 6 divisions, all members equally talented and strong.
- The third faction is called the Bulls, solitary agents, that act as constables or bodyguards, mostly hired for important personnel like nobles or rich merchants or the like. Most of them have lifetime contracts, oftentimes made while they were still in training and hired for a whole family. The most prestigious of the factions.
- The fourth and last faction are the Doves,
that stay mostly hidden and are not allowed to state their true
occupation. The Doves are the FCC information network, often times
tasked with snooping out whole governments and royal courts, but cities,
merchants and other organizations as well. Only the supervisors and
respective councilors know who is a Dove and how many there are.
